Bio

Inspired by my own family history — losing a parent at 19 and watching my mother, a young widow, try to pick up the pieces and move forward — I realized how important it is to plan and prepare for what the future may bring. That experience set me on a path, and for the last 20 years I have had the privilege of guiding individuals and families toward a better life: sorting out the present, then helping to create a clear picture and a plan for what lies ahead.

For the first six years of my career, the focus was on building a financially healthy picture for clients. Through active listening and open conversation, I gained real insight into people’s lives. With in-depth consultation, education, and thoughtful advice, we were able to bring all the pieces together — helping clients understand where they stood and what they wanted their future to look like. From there, short- and long-term goals were clarified, a strategy was developed, and a plan was put in place to help them succeed.

In 2010, navigating my own divorce after 19 years of marriage, I was introduced to the concept of mediation. That experience — peaceful and amicable thanks to the process — sparked a deep interest in conflict and dispute resolution, with a focus on marriage and family mediation. I completed my training at the Center for Mediation & Training in New York City, then spent several years volunteering at the Dispute Resolution Center of Putnam County and Putnam County Family Court. Alongside that volunteer work, I built a small private practice dedicated to helping families navigate all aspects of divorce — from custody and visitation to child support, maintenance, and equitable distribution. With my background in finance, I was also able to provide clients with a complete and clear picture of their new financial reality.

Unforeseen transitions are a part of life. Whether through death, divorce, or any other circumstance, having the right person to help navigate the change can make all the difference. In life’s hardest moments, understanding, support, and guidance can turn uncertainty into strength.

Throughout my career — and now as that journey continues at CPC Wealth Management and First Women’s Wealth, LLC — one priority has remained constant: putting people and family first. That principle is woven into every interaction. At the center of every conversation are the client’s goals, values, and dreams, along with a commitment to drawing on every available resource to deliver the best possible solution for each person, family, and business we serve.
